The Mobile World Congress is the most successful event for the mobile communications industry. It gives business visitors the opportunity to interact and network with other players in the global mobile operator community and the industry’s key decision makers – from across the globe. The exhibition features new developments in technology in GSM, broadband and related areas. The Mobile World Congress gives visitors a unique perspective into the future of the cellular phone and wireless service arenas, creates business opportunities and plays an important part in directing the industry’s progress.

The Mobile World Congress is organized by the GSM Association (GSMA), which is a global trade association of almost 700 GSM mobile phone operators. All activities related to the events are conducted by GSM Conference Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the GSM Association. GSMA’s members serve more than 2 billion customers around the world, representing over 80% of all mobile subscribers globally.

The main conference and exhibition will be preceded by an Asia specific exhibition, which is scheduled for November 12-15, 2007. This event will be held in Macau, China.
